Job Description: The Sales Engineer role utilizes technical knowledge along with sales acumen to generate new business and ensure the growth of existing accounts. This position will focus efforts on supporting GTRI’s Enterprise presence with the Denver Metro area. The SE will be responsible for the architecture and design of GTRI solutions and systems for customers LAN, WAN and data center networking environments. The position includes the responsibility for identifying customer needs, identifying new sales opportunities, architecting solutions to meet those needs and developing services proposals and bills of materials in order to capture those opportunities while reducing GTRI and customer risk. The Sales Engineer works within our Sales teams and engages with experts across all GTRI technology competencies: applications, virtualization, data management, unified communications, wireless and network & infrastructure competencies.
The Commercial Sales Engineer uses their technical knowledge along with sales acumen to generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts. This position will focus efforts on supporting GTRI’s growth in the Commercial, Enterprise, Healthcare, and Financial markets. The Commercial Sales Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with sales to ensure an accurate sales funnel, growing sales pipeline, and driving professional services opportunity.
